At Sprinkle & Stir, we believe some of the best childhood moments begin with a little curiosity, a big imagination, and permission to make a bit of magic.
Our potion-making kits turn sensory play into a magical, hands-on experience. Little potion makers can pour, sprinkle, mix, stir, fizz, and explore as colors swirl, textures change, and sparkling creations come to life.

Potion making is a playful form of sensory exploration that encourages children to engage their senses while experimenting with different colors, textures, movements, and reactions.
Every Sprinkle & Stir kit includes an instruction card to help children begin their potion-making adventure. They can follow the steps to create the suggested potion—or use the ingredients to dream up magical creations of their own.
There isn't just one way to make magic.
As children scoop, pour, mix, and stir, they're encouraged to slow down, observe what happens, and wonder “What if I try this?” The repetitive motions of pouring and stirring can also create an engaging, calming sensory experience while keeping little hands and imaginations busy.

We thoughtfully select our potion-making ingredients to be non-toxic and appropriate for our activities, so children can focus on creating and grown-ups can enjoy watching their imaginations come alive.
Sprinkle & Stir potion kits contain citric acid, which helps create that exciting fizzing potion magic! Citric acid may sting or irritate broken or sensitive skin. If your child has cuts, scrapes, or broken skin on their hands, we recommend wearing protective gloves while potion making. Avoid contact with eyes, and always wash hands after play.

A Little Mess Is
Part of the Magic!
Potion making is hands-on sensory play, and sometimes magic gets a little messy! Sprinkles may scatter, potions may bubble over, and colorful ingredients may find their way beyond the cauldron—and we think that's part of the fun.
For the best potion-making experience, we recommend setting up outside or, when creating indoors, using a table with a tray or other protected work surface. A tray helps contain spills, fizz, and runaway sprinkles while giving little potion makers plenty of room to experiment.
So roll up those sleeves, grab your potion supplies, and don't be afraid to make a little mess while making some magic!
